Department of Human Services Board
The Pinecrest Farms Administrator reports to a Department of Human Services Board (DHS). The DHS board has two members appointed by the Board of Commissioners and one appointed by the Governor's office. In conjunction with the DHS Board Pinecrest has oversight from the Midland County Administrator/Controller Bridgette M. Gransden, CPA, CGFM and the Midland County Board of Commissioners.
The DHS board's main priorities are to oversee the Pinecrest Farms Administrator and to ensure that the best care and quality of life is provided to the residents. The board meets monthly and is in regular communication with the Administrator and County personnel.
Brian Millikin, the Director of Midland, Isabella and Clare County DHS also provides oversight to Pinecrest. Director Millikin attends the monthly board meetings, provides input when requested and assists monitoring of Pinecrest funds.
Yvonne Fisher is a member and has served as chair of the Northwood Town and Campus and President of the Contemporary Review Club. She also served as President of the MPS Sports Boosters and spearheaded the first two Booster Bash fundraising events.
Yvonne has always been an active volunteer in the community through children programs at church, the Plymouth PTO for 14-years, Sports representative for the MHS Girls Tennis Team and a member of the MHS Sports Booster Club.
In addition Yvonne serves on the Advisory Board of the Alden B. Dow Museum, member of MCSSA and as a Board member of the Department of Human Services. Yvonne has been married to J.W. Fisher for over twenty-five years. They have four children all who have grown up in Midland.
Diane Bristol retired after 33-plus years from her position as Administrator of a 3-physician OB-GYN Practice. She received
the Michigan Medical Group Management Association (MiMGMA) “Administrator of the Year” award in 2014.
For over 25 years, she served as Legislative Liaison for the MiMGMA as well as MiMGMA’s Legislative Liaison to the national MGMA organization. She was honored to twice receive the national MGMA’s “Legislative Liaison of the Year” award. In addition, Diane served many years as a consultant to the Michigan State Medical Society’s State and Federal Legislative Committee. She continues to be involved in health care legislative issues.
Diane currently serves on the Midland Business Alliance Business Advocacy Committee as well as on the MBA Board of Directors. She also continues to serve as Board Chair of CBM Services, a for-profit collection agency owned by the MBA.
