Treatment Maps & Helpful Links

After years of paper maps and route memorization, Midland County and many other districts have transitioned to GIS mapping. Similar to other mapping services, GIS allows our mosquito office to immediately see where technicians are treating and can make last minute adjustments to the route as needed. This also allows you to see when and where the next treatment takes place.

Midland County Mosquito Control is affiliated with the Michigan Mosquito Control Association (MMCA) and the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) and is partnered up with local county’s control efforts.

As part of MCMC’s Integrated Mosquito Management plan we partner up with other mosquito control efforts in the tri-city area and with various control efforts across the states. Below you will find links to our associations and Bay, Saginaw, and Tuscola county’s mosquito control websites.

Although the risk is low, it’s still possible to catch a mosquito borne disease. Midland County Mosquito Control surveys the region for mosquito larvae and flying adults and tests for any disease based on the species of mosquito found. Below are links to emerging diseases.
