Four Lakes task force
In collaboration with Midland and Gladwin counties, a group of volunteers came together to form FLTF. The Four Lakes Task Force is engaged with public officials, and has three main goals:
Ensure lake levels are sustainable for the community for future generation's.
Repair dams to ensure safe operations and maintain compliance with state safety requirements.
Improve certainty on restoration time and costs.

Chippewa Nature Center
Chippewa Nature Center is one of the largest private non-profit nature centers in the United States. Through the years, CNC has grown from its original 198 acre parcel and an all-volunteer staff to include over 1,500 acres, 40 staff members and hundreds of volunteers. Over 70,000 people visit CNC every year, including 1,000 Nature Day Campers and thousands of school children.

TUESDAY Walk-In Flu & COVID Vaccines at the Health Department

Every Tuesday from 10am to 4:30pm, the Immunization Clinic at the Midland County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) will offer walk-in FLU* and COVID* vaccines for individuals 6 months and over. No appointment required!

*We invite you to call ahead to check on brand availability if you have a preferred brand of vaccine, as our options may vary based on shipping schedules: 989-832-6380 (option #1).

We accept the following insurance:

Aetna, Aetna Medicare, BCBS, ConnectCare, McLaren Commercial, Priority Health Commercial, Medicare, Humana Medicare, Medicare Advantage-BCBS, Priority Health, Medicare Meridian Medicaid, Molina, Priority Health Medicaid, United Healthcare Medicaid, McLaren Medicaid, Medicaid

There is no out of pocket cost if you are uninsured.
