Courthouse
From 1924 to today, the Midland County Courthouse has been the solid anchor to a vibrant Downtown Midland. Built entirely from locally sourced materials, the tudor style Courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Courthouse was most recently remodeled and updated in 2018 thanks to generous funding from local foundations and the Midland County Board of Commissioners. The $8 million project remodeled the entire existing structure, including new elevators, HVAC, plumbing, electrical. We also added a concourse entrance with plenty of space for a well-designed weapons-screening station. This location allows visitors to enter from both Main Street and the river side parking lot and pass through a single-point of security screening.
