The Midland County Department of Public Health offers programs and services to keep families within our community healthy and safe!

Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP)

Home visiting program for pregnant women, new parents, infants (birth-18 months), and families.

Childhood Lead Prevention

Education on lead prevention, referrals, and follow-up to reduce lead levels and prevent further exposure.

Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS)

Knowledge and resources for navigating life caring for a child or young adult with special health care needs.

Hearing and Vision

The Hearing and Vision Screening Program provides free screening for preschool and school-aged children.

Community Health Education

Educational programs and presentations offered for schools, groups, and the community upon request.
