DBA Information
Someone doing business in a name other than their own is required to file a DBA/Co-Partnership in the County in which they are doing business. Documents filed at the County level are Assumed Names and Co-Partnerships.
- The DBA/Co-Partnership is valid for 5 years from date of filing
- You must be at least 18 years of age to file a DBA

Filing fee is $10.00
Dissolution fee is $10.00
Certified copies of business names on file are $3.00 for a certified copy and $1.00 for a regular copy

Everyone on a DBA must have their signature notarized.
Only one (1) person on a co-partnership must have their signature notarized.
Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships and Non-Profit Organizations are filed at the State level.
